Portable Respirometer SN6
Real-Time Process Control and Optimization

The SN6 is a portable respirometer designed for in situ monitoring of the health status of autotrophic and heterotrophic bacteria, as well as effluent monitoring. For this purpose, the SN6 is equipped with oxygen, temperature, pH and ORP probes.
Tests and Parameters
By means of the SN-6 respirometer, the following tests are performed, which provide the following parameters automatically:
- TEST OUR (Global Respirometry): OUR, SOUR.
- AUR TEST (Nitrification rate): AUR, SAUR.
- TOX TEST (Toxicity): % Inhibition
- DENITRIFICATION TEST: NUR
- COD TEST (COD fractionation) : biodegradable COD and rapidly biodegradable COD
With these variables, the SICAIR algorithm calculates the volume of oxygen that the bacteria need at each moment and with the technical data of the blowers, the minutes of operation of the blowers are calculated.
